GRAND HAVEN, Mich. - Kansas women's golf is set to tee off the 2026-27 season September 7-9 at the Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan.
Kansas is one of 12 teams in the tournament, hosted by Florida State. Joining the two are Arizona, Duke, Findlay, Kentucky, Michigan State, Navy, North Carolina A&T, Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.
The Folds of Honor was founded by Lieutenant Colonel Dan Rooney, a former golfer at Kansas. Since its inception in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded nearly 73,000 scholarships totaling over $340 million to children of US Military members and first responders fallen or wounded in the line of duty.
This marks Kansas' third appearance at the Folds of Honor, with a best finish of seventh in 2024.
"We're excited to be back in Grand Rapids and at American Dunes GC for the Folds of Honor Invitational," Kansas head coach Lindsay Kuhle said. "Year three brings familiarity, gratitude, and even greater excitement. We're incredibly thankful to Dan Rooney and the committee for continuing to invite us to be part of such a special event."
Kuhle will call upon an experienced lineup to open the year, with four returners set to compete.
"Our lineup includes four returners—Lyla Louderbaugh, Ebba Nordstedt, Kinslea Jones, and Anna Wallin—along with freshman Hannah Hall from Florida. All five are strong competitors, coming off elite performances this summer and under-par qualifying rounds this week," Kuhle said. "We're all confident, prepared, and enjoying the process of this season thus far. We've put in the work, sharpened our wedges, ball striking, and short game, and we're ready to compete against the nation's best."
Louderbaugh, a senior, recorded four top-five finishes in 2025, inlcuding her second career win at the Yale Invitational West.
Nordstedt, a sophomore, scored a pair of top-fives and three top-10s, along with her first career win at the Marilynn Smith Invitational, while competing in 10 events in 2025.
Jones made her collegiate debut in 2025, competing in 11 events and adding her first career top-10 finish.
A fifth-year senior, Wallin competed in 11 events in 2025, collecting a pair of top-10s and a best finish of seventh.
Hall is set to make her Kansas debut at the Folds of Honor.
The 54-hole tournament is set to be played at American Dunes Golf Club, designed by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus. Opened in 2021, the facility has played host to each of the previous four editions of the event.
