LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas women's golf head coach
Lindsay Kuhle has been named the Central Coach of the Year award from the Ladies Professional Golf Associations (LPGA) Professionals. Â
Kuhle is in her fifth season with Kansas and has already won eight tournaments, including a program record-setting six tournament wins in 2024-25. Kuhle has also secured a win this season at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational from Oct. 6-7.
Kuhle and the Jayhawks are also coming off a NCAA Championship appearance, the first in program history since 2014. Kuhle led Kansas to a No. 23 national ranking in the 2024-25 final Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) poll, the highest end-of-season ranking in program history.
Kansas concluded its fall season at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Lihue, Hawaii from Oct. 20-22. Kuhle currently has the Jayhawks ranked No. 32 on scoreboard, and are looking to improve in the spring season.Â
