10 Jayhawks Represented on All-Big 12 Teams

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawks had 10 players earn All-Big 12 recognition, the Big 12 Conference announced on Thursday.

Senior Emmanuel Henderson earned first team honors as a kick returner and third team honors as a wide receiver, while punter Finn Lappin also earned third team honors. Kansas had nine Honorable Mention designations, including Daniel Hishaw Jr. (running back), Henderson Jr. (Offensive Newcomer of the Year), Boden Groen (tight end), Kobe Baynes (offensive line), Enrique Cruz Jr. (offensive line), Bryce Foster (offensive line), Bangally Kamara (linebacker), Trey Lathan (linebacker) and Leroy Harris III (defensive line).

Henderson earns his first career All-Big 12 honors and becomes the first Jayhawk to earn All-Big 12 First Team honors as a punt/kick returner since 2005 (Charles Gordon). Henderson led the Big 12 Conference in average yards per kick return (25.3), returning 18 kickoffs for 455 yards and one touchdown. Henderson was the Big 12 Conference Special Teams Player of the Week following a 94-yard kick return touchdown against West Virginia on Sept. 20.

Henderson was also Kansas' leading receiver during the 2025 season, recording 45 receptions for 766 yards and five touchdowns. Henderson's 766 receiving yards were the 11^th most in the Big 12 Conference.

Redshirt senior Finn Lappin earned Third Team All-Big 12 Honors as a punter, marking his first career All-Big 12 recognition. From Melbourne, Australia, Lappin becomes Kansas' first All-Big 12 punter since 2018 (Kyle Thompson). Lappin ranked fourth in the Big 12 Conference in punt average (45.3), punting 39 times for 1,767 yards and 12 punts placed inside the 20-yard line.

Of Kansas' honorable mention selections, Foster earned his second career All-Big 12 honor after being named Second Team All-Big 12 at center in 2024. Hishaw, Henderson, Groen, Baynes, Cruz, Kamara, Lathan and Harris all earn their first career All-Big 12 honors.
