COLUMBIA, Mo. – Kansas softball is set to travel to Columbia, Missouri, to face off against the Missouri Tigers on Wednesday, March 26, at 8 p.m. CT.
"Missouri is definitely a tough midweek game, but it's also a great opportunity to play a strong SEC opponent," said Head Coach
Jennifer McFalls. "It will be a challenging atmosphere, but we are excited for the Border Showdown."

Kansas (14-12, 3-3 Big 12) enters the matchup after a competitive series against Utah, where the Jayhawks went 1-2. Kansas started strong in the series opener, scoring 10 runs on 13 hits, including three home runs, but Utah claimed a 13-10 victory in extra innings.
The Utes won the second game 5-2 in a more defensive contest before Kansas bounced back in the series finale with a 5-4 extra-inning win. Junior
Presley Limbaugh played a key role, scoring the game-winning run in the ninth inning after Junior
Hailey Cripe drove in the go-ahead RBI with a hit to center field.

Limbaugh continues to lead the Jayhawks offensively, posting a .500 batting average during the Utah series with seven hits, one double and one RBI.
Hailey Cripe also had an impressive showing, hitting .455 with a home run and four RBIs.
Aynslee Linduff added five hits and four RBIs while slugging .615.

In the circle, Kansas' pitching rotation has been a key component of the team's success. Freshman
Kaelee Washington leads the staff with 29 strikeouts and has made a team-high 14 appearances. During the Utah series, she recorded three appearances and earned a save while posting a 4.57 ERA. Senior
Olivia Bruno has also been a standout, pitching 31.0 innings this season with a 2.26 ERA and 27 strikeouts. Against Utah,
Kennedy Diggs earned Kansas' lone win, allowing just four earned runs in 6.2 innings pitched while holding opponents to a .240 batting average.
