QUOTABLES & NOTABLES
"We always talk about clean, efficient, sound baseball and winning the strike zone. We certainly didn't win the strike zone. We did a nice job this weekend of not giving a lot away on the mound. No walks today and seven punchouts, but they also punched out 13 guys. So, we lost we lost the strike zone battle most of the weekend. I think the learning is when you play really, really good teams, which TCU is clearly one of the best in the Big 12, it's whoever plays the cleanest and they certainly played the cleanest. It's a good reminder that the play matters. I thought our preparation was great and we competed hard, but ultimately you have to execute in those crunch time moments when you play against great teams." – Head Coach Dan Fitzgerald
