LAWRENCE, Kan. – Coming off a dominant 21-4 win at Kansas City on Wednesday, Kansas Softball makes a quick turnaround to host No. 23 Oklahoma State for Big 12 play at Arrocha Ballpark in a three-game home series from April 25-27.

Kansas returns home to take on the Cowgirls beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 25, after improving to 20-22 on the year with its five-inning run-rule victory over Kansas City.
Leading the Jayhawks at the plate was senior Olivia Bruno, who launched a three-run homer in the top of the second inning and finished with four RBIs and three runs scored.
Katie Brooks picked up her sixth win of the season against Kansas City, recording one strikeout and allowing just one hit in 1.1 innings of action. All five members of the Jayhawk pitching staff continue to make meaningful contributions, with each having made at least 13 appearances in the circle. Between Brooks, Bruno, Kaelee Washington, Kennedy Diggs, and Lizzy Ludwig, the staff has combined for 160 strikeouts and 270.1 innings pitched.
The Cowgirls are 27-16 on the season after dropping their game on Wednesday, 1-0, to No. 3 Texas at home. In conference play, OSU sits sixth in the Big 12 with an 8-8 record and is tied for second in fielding percentage at .970.
Game two of the series will start at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, and the series will wrap up on Sunday at noon. This will be Kansas' second-to-last set of home games this season, as the Jayhawks conclude the regular season May 2-4 when hosting UCF.
