LAWRENCE, KAN. -Â Kansas Track and Field completed competition at the Rock Chalk Classic on Saturday at Rock Chalk Park.Â
"I'm excited about the momentum we gained, but more importantly, we have to make sure our marks are comparable, and we are going in the direction we need to be going for the Big 12. I'm excited though, we were better than we were last week, but still have a ways to go," Kansas Head Coach
Stanley Redwine said.Â
Kansas won 16 events Saturday, building on their successful meets in the outdoor season. The Jayhawks were highlighted by sweeps in the Men's and Women's Pole Vault, the Men's and Women's 800m, and the Men's and Women's Triple Jump, as the Jayhawks took the crown in all of those events.Â
In the Men's Pole Vault, freshman
