"The effort has been tremendous," head coach
Dan Fitzgerald said. "The accountability and all the little things have been really good. We talk about mental toughness being doing the right thing and doing the thing that you're supposed to do every single time you're supposed to do it…they never complain and they love being with each other."
Â
Kansas (37-13, 15-9 Big 12) has its most wins in a season since 2009 and is one win shy of tying the most regular season wins in school history (1993, 1994, 2006). The 15 wins in Big 12 games are tied for the most in program history (2009, 2014, 2024). Through 50 games, Kansas has its best record since 1993, when the Jayhawks were 38-12. Â
KU currently leads the Big 12 and is tied for seventh in the nation with 90 home runs this season.

Â
