QUOTABLES & NOTABLES
"Great sweep against a really good team that's going to win a lot of games this year. This is a well-coached McNeese team. They've got some really nice pitchers that we were able to get to the last couple days and then today, thankfully, we got to Blanchard because Nachtsheim came in and had us stuffed for four innings. He was outstanding. Our bullpen was nails. We just passed it from Carter to Kannon to Toby to Boede and they were really good and picked up right where Madden left off. Proud of the guys. Sweeps are really hard to do, especially against teams like this. We're going to enjoy this one and get ready for another week." – Head Coach
Dan Fitzgerald
Â
"It felt good. I was confident in myself and confident in the plan we had going into it. I just trusted my coaches and trusted myself. It's huge to get a series sweep and end the road trip strong. I think coming in here and getting a sweep really sets the tone for what we have coming next week." –
Madden Seidl
