MINNESOTA MAYHEM
Kansas tied an NCAA record with five consecutive home runs in the third inning at Minnesota on March 12, 2025. It was the fourth occasion in NCAA Division I history, and the first by a Big 12 program, that a team has done so, with the last being South Carolina at Georgia in 2006. The five home runs marked a new program record for the most home runs in an inning.
Â
Kansas beat Minnesota 29-1 in seven innings that day at U.S. Bank Stadium. The 29 runs were the most all-time by Kansas against a Division I opponent and the most ever in a road game.
