LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas baseball wraps up a season-long six-game homestand this week with a two-game midweek series against Sacramento State that begins on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. CT. Fans can purchase tickets by clicking

Â
Kansas (15-8, 4-2 Big 12) is riding a season-best five-game winning streak after sweeping Houston this past weekend. The Jayhawks have scored 57 runs over the five games and have scored at least eight runs in all five games.
Â
The series sweep of Houston was the first conference sweep of the season and the second sweep of the year. Last season, Kansas established a new school record with five Big 12 series sweeps. The Jayhawks are tied for third place in the conference after two weekends of Big 12 play.
Â
In the series against Houston, Kansas hit a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the eighth inning in each of the three games.
Tyson LeBlanc,
Tyson Owens and
Josh Dykhoff were each responsible for a go-ahead blast.
Â
Owens had a huge Saturday for the Jayhawks. He set new career highs of eight RBIs, four hits and two home runs. He hit a grand slam, three-run homer and walk-off RBI single in the 9-8 victory.
Â
Sacramento State (9-15) heads to Lawrence after dropping its most recent series to Winthrop. Despite the series loss, Sacramento State did win a weekend series at No. 2 LSU earlier this season. The Hornets have hit .256 as a team this season and have posted a 4.77 ERA on the mound.
