"We had a very solid day of golf today, even in some very windy and cold conditions." Kansas coach Jamie Bermel said. "The guys battled all day. Will Baker had a really good week, and the rest of the team was solid."
Junior Will Baker led the way for the Jayhawks with a fifth-place finish, after shooting rounds of 67-70-70 to finish -9 for the tournament. Baker carded all three rounds under par, while recording 12 birdies and one eagle throughout the tournament. "Thankfully, we get to go back to the Midwest and will be putting on some better greens for the first time all spring. I know the guys are looking forward to it," Bermel added. "We have about two weeks and then we head to the Tiger Intercollegiate in Missouri, I know the guys will be ready to play there."
