ORLANDO, Fla. – No. 5-seed Kansas women's tennis battled tough in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals against No. 4-seed Arizona, but ultimately fell 4-2 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
Kansas drops to 13-10 on the season, while Arizona improves to 20-8 on the year.Â
"Credit to Arizona," Kansas head coach Todd Chapman said. "They played the big moments a little more consistently and more freely than we did tonight and that was the difference in a tough hard fought match."
