Rock Chalk Dance - Scholarships

KU gives partial scholarships of $650/year (+$100 if 3.0 GPA) to all our dancers. Rock Chalk Dancers also receive many other benefits in addition to getting one of the best educations in the midwest, living in an awesome college town, and dancing at what many experts say is the best college basketball atmosphere in the country. Our other benefits include:

5% discount at Naismith Hall if at least 10 squad members live there
Free adidas apparel and shoes
Two tickets to each home football game
Uniforms and warm-ups provided by KU
Per diems during travel to away games
Access to KU Athletics’ trainers, nutritionist, and sport psychologist
To compete at UDA nationals, Dance must fund raise to cover all costs of nationals travel and fees.

Also see KU’s academic scholarships (which have a Nov. 1 application deadline, so apply early). Nonresident dance majors (and quite a few other majors) from certain states are eligible for the Midwest Exchange Scholarship.
