Get to Know Nadira ...
What is the significance behind your jersey number?
It was one of the few numbers left growing up that was one of the bigger sizes, so I’ve just stuck with it ever since.
Who was your favorite player growing up?
My favorite player growing up was LeBron James.
Who is your biggest role model?
My parents are my biggest role models.
Why did you choose KU?
My first time talking to Coach Brandon was so natural and I felt like he was someone that I would want to play for. Also the rich history of Kansas basketball and the momentum of the program really sealed the deal.
