Kansas freshman Darryn Peterson has been named to the John R. Wooden Award Late Midseason Top 20 Watch List, the Los Angeles Athletic Club announced today.
Kansas sophomore Flory Bidunga has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week by a media panel that covers the league, the conference announced today. With the honor, Bidunga is also part of this week's Big 12 Starting Five.
No. 9 Kansas (18-5, 8-2) concludes its two-game home stand when it plays host to No. 1 Arizona (22-0, 10-0) on ESPN Big Monday, Feb. 9. Tip from Allen Fieldhouse will be at 8 p.m. Central and the game will be televised on ESPN.
