Get to Know Leroy ...
What's the significance behind your jersey number?
- The significance behind my jersey number is all tied to my family. My dad in college wore No. 52. My mom wore No. 5, and my brother wore No. 2. Growing up I watched a lot of my brother playing in college, so I chose No. 2.
Who or what inspired you to start playing basketball growing up?
- My family inspired me. Since a young age, going to my brother's games and seeing pictures of my parents play.
Do you have any pregame superstitions or routines?
- Before every game I like to take a nap and listen to a lot of music.
Who do you model your game off of?
- I like to model my game after a lot of players. I like to take the best ability from some players and paste it into mine. So I would say Russell Westbrook’s athleticism, Stephan Curry’s shooting, Kyrie Irving’s ability to score, and Carson Wallace’s steal ability.
