What's the significance behind your jersey number?
- Growing up there were a lot of people in my family that wore No. 4. I just wanted to continue that legacy.
Who or what inspired you to start playing basketball growing up?
- Growing up, I would go and watch my older cousins’ games a lot. That’s probably what made me so inspired, just being able to see the excitement in the gyms was a great feeling.
Do you have any pregame superstitions or routines?
- I like to listen to music, pray, and probably eat something like fruit snacks or sour candy.
Tell us about your favorite basketball moment as a player or fan.
- My favorite basketball moment was when LeBron James came to watch my game at Peach Jam. I found out five minutes before the game that he was there.
Who do you model your game off of?
- No one in particular. I just play my game and do what I do.

Played 2025-26 at Rainier Beach High School in Seattle … Averaged 31.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 4.0 steals in leading Rainier Beach to a 29-1 record and the Washington 3A state title ... In the state quarterfinals, Stokes recorded a triple-double with 24 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in the win against Seattle O'Dea ... In the title game he had 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists against Tacoma Lincoln ... Earlier in the season, Stokes scored a career-high 63 points against West Seattle … Had multiple 50-point games and scored more than 2,000 points while in high school.
Was selected for the 2026 McDonald's All-American game and led all players with nine rebounds to go along with 12 points, three assists, and two blocked shots ... Also a Naismith All-America and MaxPreps All-America first team selection … Was named the most valuable player at the Jordan Brand Classic where he scored 29 points with eight rebounds, seven assists and three blocked shots for Team Air Boys.
Has won three gold medals playing for USA Basketball - in 2023 the FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship in Mexico; in 2024 the FIBA U17 World Cup in Turkey; and in 2025 the FIBA U19 World Cup in Switzerland … Became the first USA player ever to record a triple-double in U19 World Cup history with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists versus Jordan in 2025.
