Began the season by breaking his personal best 800m time with a 1:50.33 showing at the LSU Battle on the Bayou, also placed sixth in the 1500m … Placed fifth in the 1500m at the Stanford Invitational … Took home the gold at the Kansas Relays in the 1500m with a time of 3:41.03 … Finished in fifth place in the 800m at the Rock Chalk Classic … Competed in the 1500m at the Desert Heat Classic to finish seventh … Achieved third place in the 1500m at the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships … Qualified for and competed in the 1500m at the NCAA Division I West First Round.

Opened the indoor season with a first place finish in the mile and second place finish in the 1000m at the KU/KSU/WSU Triangular … Finished second in the mile with a time of 4:00.23 at the Rick McGuire Invitational … Ran a personal best of 3:58.96 in the mile at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational, also competing in the 1500m … Qualified for the mile finals at the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championships where he took eighth with a time of 4:12.95.
2024 CROSS COUNTRY (Jr.)
Competed five times for Kansas ... Opened the season with a second place finish and new 5K personal best of 18:33.6 at the Bob Timmons Classic ... Placed 39th at the Gans Creek Classic with a time of 23:58.6 ... Crossed the finish line in 24:23.7 and 19th place at the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals ... Set a new personal best 8K of 23:55.2 while achieving 46th place at the Big 12 Championships ... Achieved a new personal best 10K time of 30:08.6 at the NCAA XC Midwest Regional Championships, placing 27th.

Kicked off the outdoor season at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays with second and fourth place finishes as part of the 4x800m and DMR teams … Placed third in the 1500m at the LSU Lloyd Wills Invitational … Finished second in the 1500m at the Kansas Relays, crossing the line in 3:55.12, was also part of the winning 4x800m team … Achieved a personal best in the 1500m at the John McDonell Invitational, finishing in 3:46.90 to place fourth… Ran the 1500m at Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, placing 25th.

Made his season debut at the Washburn Rust Buster with a sixth place finish in the mile, finishing in 4:19.57 … Placed first at the Jayhawk Classic in the 1000m with a time of 2:28.00 … Finished sixth in the mile at the Husker Invitational … Finished the mile in 4:10.11 to place ninth at the Tyson Invitational … Achieved two personal bests at the Big 12 Indoor Championships for finishing the 1000m in 2:27.94 and the 3000m in 8:40.48, placing 14th and 28th, respectively.

Ran an 18:40.99 6K at the Bob Timmons Classic, where he finished fifth overall ... Rounded out the top 20 at the Greeno/Dirksen Invitational with an 8K time of 24:55.1 ... Finished 57th overall with a time of 24:41.4 at the Gans Creek Classic ... Ran a 25:17.3 8K to place 113th overall at the Weis Crockett Invitational ... Placed 45th at the Big 12 Championship, crossing the line in 26:07.5.
HIGH SCHOOL
Six-time state champion and three-time state meet record holder with eleven All-State honors...Was the Festival of Miles 800m Champion & the One Mile Runner-Up.... In 2021, was named to the Southwest MO Boys Cross Country Athlete of the Year, also won the Cross Country State Championship... Has won two gold medals in State Ensemble...Academically, valedictorian of his high school & and qualified for the FBLA National competition.

Parents are Darin and Robin Talley...Has two siblings... Older brother, Trevor, runs track at SBU & younger sister, Kaylee, attends Missouri State... Is a pre-dental student aspiring to become a dentist or dental specialist in the future.
