Big 12 selects three KU volleyball matches for TV

IRVING, Texas — The Big 12 Conference and its television partners, ESPN and FOX Sports, announced Wednesday that Kansas volleyball will be featured in three nationally- or regionally-televised matches this fall.  

The Jayhawks will appear twice on ESPNU and once on FOX Sports Regional Networks (FSN).

KU’s pair of matches on ESPNU are Sept. 26 at Oklahoma and Oct. 17 at Kansas State. FSN will televise the Jayhawks’ home match against Texas on Oct. 10. First serve for all three of KU’s matches on ESPNU and FSN are at 8 p.m. Central.

The complete schedule to watch head coach Ray Bechard’s 2018 squad on television or video streaming will be announced at a later date.

Fans will get their first look at the Jayhawks is this Saturday at 1 p.m., as UMKC visits Horejsi Family Athletics Center for an exhibition match. For single-match ticket availability, fans can visit StubHub, the official fan-to-fan marketplace of Kansas Athletics.
