She is also tied for first in the Big 12 among freshmen for goals scored. Gregorski currently leads the team in goals (5) and points (11) this season, with her 11 points being tied for the ninth most in the conference.
Â
Gregorski is the 24th player in Kansas history to receive the Big 12 Freshman of the Week accolade and it is the first time in her career. A week ago, redshirt freshman goalkeeper
Sophie Dawe was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week.
Â
The last time Kansas had two players win the award in back-to-back weeks was 2011, when Jamie Fletcher (Aug. 23) and Ingrid Vidal (Aug. 30) claimed the award in consecutive weeks.
