LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas Rowing team welcomed Kansas State, Creighton, and the University of Tulsa for their first home race of the 2025-2026 season and to close to their fall schedule on the Kansas River.
"I think we had two big successes today. I thought from an event hosting standpoint, everything went smooth thanks to great efforts from our staff," said head coach Andrew Derrick. "Even more importantly the team did a great job from a performance standpoint. There are clearly things to improve upon as you would expect in October, but the team showed great improvement and depth across the whole roster. I am particularly impressed with our 3

All in all, very happy of our squad's effort and execution today and a big thank you to the Creighton's, Kansas State's, and Tulsa's staff and student-athletes for making the trip. Great competitors and racing all around."
