LAWRENCE, Kan. — No. 13 Kansas volleyball (17–8, 8–3 Big 12) returns home for a pivotal Big 12 weekend, hosting No. 20 Colorado on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. CT, and Cincinnati on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. CT inside Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena. Both matches will stream live on ESPN+.
The Jayhawks enter the week riding the momentum of a 2–0 road swing, earning a 3–1 victory at Cincinnati on Oct. 30 before sweeping West Virginia 3–0 on Nov. 1. The wins marked Kansas' fifth conference sweep of the season and helped the Jayhawks climb to No. 13 in the national rankings.

Matt Ulmer. "Colorado is playing as confidently as any team in the country, and this is a great opportunity for us to grow against an excellent opponent. Cincinnati wasn't at full strength when we played last week, and we know they'll bring their best on Saturday. It should be a great weekend of volleyball, and I hope our fans are ready for it."
Thursday's matchup against No. 20 Colorado will be Kansas' first contest against a top-25 opponent since Oct. 22, when the Jayhawks faced then-No. 10 TCU.
Kansas continues to rank among the Big 12 and national leaders in multiple statistical categories, averaging 13.06 kills, 12.14 assists, and 2.59 blocks per set, while holding opponents to just .170 hitting, the lowest mark in the Big 12 and 23rd nationally.
Offensively, Kansas boasts one of the Big 12's most balanced attacks.Rhian Swanson leads the way with 3.24 kills per set, followed closely by
Grace Nelson at 3.11 kills per set while hitting an efficient .333.
Jovana Zelenovic adds 2.95 kills per set, giving the Jayhawks three consistent scoring options across the front line. Setter
Katie Dalton continues to run the offense with precision, averaging 10.2 assists per set.
At the net, Reese Ptacek and Aurora Papac anchor one of the league's most productive blocking duos, combining for more than 200 total blocks on the season. In the back row, Ryan White provides defensive stability, ranking second in the Big 12 with 3.90 digs per set.
Kansas holds a 3–0 all-time record against Cincinnati, while Colorado leads the series with Kansas 17–35. However, the Jayhawks claimed the most recent meeting between the two programs with a 3–1 win.
