Dual meets don't get much more fun than that, said Kansas head coach Clark Campbell. We had several really good events, but had to overcome a lot of adversity as well. The meet was far from perfect and the team never stopped attacking. We're so proud of our athletes and will use this as a confidence enhancer going into the championship season.
Kansas' A team, comprised of senior Lydia Lafferty, junior Ryan Johnston, sophomore Anna Gearhart, and senior Caroline Blake, posted a time of 1:39.89 to start the meet off strong with a first place finish in the 200-yard medley relay, beating the Cougars by over 2 seconds. The Jayhawks' B squad of freshman Kelsey Healy, senior Molly Robinson, sophomore Ella Hansen, and freshman Sarah Blake would take third with 1:42.26. The C team would settle into sixth with a time of 1:45.51.

Dyer (4:52.00) also racked up another first place victory by a dominating 3 seconds in the 500-yard freestyle. Haag and Solt succeeded in further top 5 finishes for third and fourth in the event.
