PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Kansas women's golf team is set to travel to Phoenix, Arizona, to compete in the ASU/PING Invitational at Papago Golf Course on March 28-30.
"We're playing with a lot of confidence, and we've had a lot of under par rounds lately so I think if we can continue that momentum and belief we can go low. That's the key to success this week," Head Coach
Lindsay Kuhle adds.
Kansas takes part in a 13-team field that includes host Arizona State, Abilene Christian, California, Florida Atlantic, Grand Canyon, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Northwestern, Pepperdine, Tulsa, and UCLA.
The 21st-ranked Kansas Jayhawks travel to Phoenix after a second-place finish at the Yale Invitational, where the Jayhawks shot a 844 (-20).
Senior
Lauren Clark won her third straight individual tournament making her just the third Jayhawk to win three or more tournaments in a single season. Clark is having an impressive senior campaign, carrying a scoring average of 71.3 on the season, and a stroke average of 67.6 in the spring season alone.
Kuhle will travel with a lineup of seniors Clark,
Lily Hirst,
