LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas Head Coach
Lindsay Kuhle and the women's golf program announced the addition of Jillian Fatkin to the 2025 signing class on Tuesday.
Fatkin, a native of Oak Island, North Carolina, is transferring to Kansas after spending her freshman year at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina. While competing for the Royals, she led the team with a 74.19 scoring average, recorded five top-10 finishes, three top-5 finishes and earned her first collegiate win at the Babs Steffens Invitational on Feb. 25, 2025, with rounds of 73-71-73 (+1). With the win, Fatkin became the program's first individual medalist in the Division I era.
"Jillian is perfect for our program here at KU and what we are building," Kuhle said. "I am confident that Jillian will come in and make a major impact on our program. She is athletic, competitive and has a strong growth mindset to improve and get better."
While at Queens, Fatkin was named ASUN Golfer of the Week three times and earned both All-ASUN First Team and All-ASUN Freshman Team honors in 2024-25.
Before college, Fatkin starred at South Brunswick High School, where she became the first golfer in program history to win an individual NCHSAA 3A State Championship. She also led her team to three regional titles (2021, 2022, 2023) and earned All-Conference First Team and All-Area First Team honors each of those years.
"We feel that her freshman year at Queens was very successful, and she will bring in a lot of confidence and experience to our program," Kuhle added. "She was ranked #367 individually in Division 1 women's golf as a freshman. She is a proven winner and we can't wait to coach her."
Fatkin joins Marieke Ebens and Kinslea Jones as the third signee for the 2025 class.
