LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas women's golf senior Lauren Clark has been named a Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Honorable Mention, the association announced Tuesday.
Clark becomes just the second Jayhawk in program history to earn WGCA All-American honors, joining Yupaporn Kawinpakorn, who received honorable mention recognition in 2016. Clark is one of only 50 players nationwide to earn All-American status this season.
"What an incredible honor and so well deserved for Lauren," said Kansas head coach Lindsay Kuhle. "She had one of the best spring seasons in college golf, winning three events in a row and averaging 70.77. We are so thrilled for Lauren to put her name on our record books."
A native of Orlando, Florida, Clark delivered a historic 2024-25 season for the Jayhawks, capturing three individual titles and becoming just the third player in program history to win three or more titles in a single season. She led the team in top-five finishes (4), top-10 finishes (5) and top-20 finishes (7), while also setting the program's lowest 54-hole score with a 199 (-17) at the Wisconsin Westbrook Invitational.
A key contributor to Kansas' record-breaking season, Clark helped guide the Jayhawks to a program-best six tournament victories. She was named to the All-Big 12 First Team following the conference championship in April and earned Big 12 Golfer of the Month honors in February 2025.
"Lauren was extremely confident and competitive all spring, hiting the ball the best she has in her career at KU," Kuhle said. "She developed a strong short game through her work ethic and training. To be only the second player in program history to earn this honor is remarkable. She's grown, developed her game and matured in her three years at KU, and it was fun to see it all come together in her last season with us."
Clark graduated from Kansas earlier this month with a Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics and plans to turn professional.
