LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas women's tennis team will host its first duals of the season on Friday, Jan. 23, as the Jayhawks will face off against Kansas City and Creighton at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.
The two matches were rescheduled to Friday, Jan. 23 out of caution for an approaching winter storm.Â
Kansas will face Kansas City at 11 a.m. CT, followed up by facing Creighton at 5 p.m. CT. Admission to the Jayhawk Tennis Center is free.
The Jayhawks opened the spring season by hosting the Jayhawk Invitational between Jan. 15-17, where Kansas played Memphis, Iowa State, and Kansas State. The two matches on Friday will be the first of 13 home duals this season.

Kansas is led by head coach Todd Chapman, who enters his 13th season as the Jayhawks' head coach. In his time at Kansas, he has led the team to seven NCAA Tournament appearances.Â
