AMES, Iowa - The Kansas Track & Field team traveled to Ames, Iowa for the Iowa State Classic on Friday. The Jayhawks had a strong meet, winning eight events and achieving 13 podium finishes.
"As the competition continues to get better, our athletes are starting to meet the challenge." Kansas head coach Stanley Redwine said about his team's performance. "It was especially nice to see Bryce Barkdull competing healthy and nearing his personal best, and Madison Snody achieved a huge personal best. Mason [Meinershagen] winning the high jump was great, and Barbora [Stejfova] also had a top performance for us. Wrapping up the meet with the men's and women's 4x400 performances was a really strong close."
