LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas softball used late-game heroics to secure a 4-3 victory over South Dakota, as
Campbell Bagshaw delivered a walk-off home run in the seventh inning. The Jayhawks rallied from an early deficit and relied on timely hitting and strong relief pitching to close out the win. Kansas now improves to 21-8 on the season.
"That was a complete team win," head coach
Jennifer McFalls said. "We stayed composed after falling behind, found ways to put pressure on offensively, and got a big lift from our pitching late. To see Campbell come through in that moment says a lot about this group and how they compete."
