LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas women's tennis was selected to compete in the 2026 NCAA Tennis Tournament, the NCAA announced on Monday, marking KU's second-straight appearance and the 15th appearance all-time.

The Jayhawks will travel to Norman, Oklahoma to take on No. 6-seed Oklahoma in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, May 2 at 2 p.m. CT at the Headington Family Tennis Center and Wadley Indoor Tennis Pavilion.
"It's great to be back in the tournament two years in a row and three of the last four years," Kansas head coach Todd Chapman said. "It's an extremely tough draw, playing one of the top teams in the country, and one we know very well. I think that our section of four teams is probably the deepest section of four teams in the draw, and you play this time of year to play the best, and we're going to get a chance to do that."
Â
This year's tournament appearance marks the eighth time the Jayhawks have been selected for the NCAA Tournament under Chapman. Kansas last appeared in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, where the Jayhawks faced off against South Carolina in the first round but fell 4-0.
