STILLWATER, Okla. – Kansas fell to No. 13 Oklahoma State in the regular season finale, 7-0, on Sunday afternoon at Cowgirl Stadium.Â
Kansas concludes the regular season with a record of 34-18 (14-10 Big 12), marking the most wins in a season since 2015 and the most Big 12 Conference wins in program history. Oklahoma State finishes the regular season at 37-14 (16-8 Big 12).
Kansas will enter postseason play with four ranked wins this season after defeating No. 13 Oklahoma State, 10-1 on Saturday. The Jayhawks have 18 top 100 RPI wins, 10 top 50 RPI wins and four top 25 RPI wins entering the postseason.
The Jayhawks will continue their historic season at the Big 12 Conference Softball Tournament at OGE Energy Field at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma May 7-9.
How It Happened | vs. Oklahoma State
- Oklahoma State got on the board first following a leadoff double that would later score on a fielder's choice to give the Cowgirls a 1-0 lead.
- The Cowgirls added two more runs in the bottom of the second inning on a two run home run to left field, as Oklahoma State led 3-0.
