- I started playing football at 6 years old and my football family got me into it.
- Who is your biggest role model?
- My dad. He's the reason why I love football.
- Who was your favorite player growing up and who do you model your game after?
- Von Miller.

- I'm from Katy, Texas, the best in the district.
- How would you describe your game to someone who hasn't seen you play?
- Electrifying.
2025: Played in all 12 games, recording 15 tackles (8 solo, 7 assisted), 5.0 tackles-for-loss and 1.5 sacks... Fresno State: Saw the first action of his career and recorded five tackles and 0.5 tackles-for-loss... Wagner: Recorded one tackle in the win over Wagner... at Missouri: Had one tackle against Missouri...at UCF: Made one tackle which was a tackle-for-loss...at Texas Tech: Recorded one solo tackle...Oklahoma State: Made one solo tackle...at Arizona: Part of back-to-back sacks, sacking Fifita for a 7-yard loss, followed by an assisted sack with redshirt senior DJ Withers. The sacks were the first of his career...at Iowa State: Recorded a career-high 2.0 tackles-for-loss on three total tackles...
2024: Did not see game action as a freshman.

Personal: Son of Jasper and Kellie Brinkley…Father Jasper played linebacker at South Carolina and later in the NFL for seven seasons, spending time with the Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants…Step mom Kellie Wells Brinkley won the bronze medal in 110 meter hurdles in the 2012 Olympics…Has six siblings…Chose Kansas over offers from Oklahoma, Missouri, Oregon, Texas, Kansas State and others.
