2012 OUTDOOR
Earned All-America second team honors after finishing in a tie for 13th at the NCAA Championships (6/6) with her top vault of 4.15 meters (17-7.25 ft.)… Took third at the Big 12 Championships (5/12) when she cleared 4.13 meters (13-06.50 ft.)… Moved to No. 3 on KU’s all-time pole vault list after notching a personal best clearance of 4.20 meters (13-09.25 ft.) at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational (4/27), finishing in a tie for first… Took the pole vault title at the UTEP Invitational (4/14) after vaulting a top height of 4.07 meters (13-04.25 ft.)… Earned a tie for fifth at the NCAA West Prelim (5/25) with her second-best height of the year, a clearance of 4.16 meters (13-08.25 ft.).
2012 INDOOR
Conference runner-up after notching a top height of 4.15 meters (13-07.25 ft.) at the Big 12 Championships (2/24)… Recorded the third-highest clearance in school history at the Tyson Invitational (2/10), a personal-best height of 4.22 meters (13-10.00 ft.) en route to a third-place finish… Notched five pole vault victories on the season… Took fourth at the New Balance Invitational (2/3) after clearing 4.20 meters (13-09.25 ft.)… Won the pole vault title at the Kansas vs. Missouri Dual (1/13) with her top jump of 4.10 meters (13-05.50 ft.).
2011 OUTDOOR
Tied for eighth at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships (5/15) with a mark of 3.98m (13-00.75 ft.)… Competed at the NCAA West Preliminary (5/27), vaulting to a top height of 3.85m (12-07.50 ft.) and finishing in a tie for 28th… Top vault of the season came at the Texas Relays (4/8), finishing in third with a height of 4.06m (13-03.75 ft.)… Placed second at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational (5/1) with a mark of 3.97m (13-00.25 ft.).
2011 INDOOR
Top mark of the year came at the Big 12 Championships (2/26), an eighth-place finish with a height of 3.92m (12-12.25 ft.)… Placed eighth at the Tyson Invitational (2/12) with a top vault of 3.90m (12-09.50 ft.).
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered three years each in volleyball and track… Won the state championship in the pole vault her junior year… Holds the school record in the pole vault (13-1.00 ft.)… Was named San Antonio field athlete of the year her senior year… Was a district champion her junior and senior years.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Bill Payne and Dana MacFarlane… Father was a world champion in the pole vault… Mother played basketball at Baylor University… Majoring in sports management… Wants to participate in the 2016 Olympics.
