Get to Know Lily...Â
Who is your biggest role model and why?Â
- My biggest role model is Justin Rose because he is not just a great golfer but a great person too. He's done a lot for the game of golf and I love his attitude on and off the golf course.Â
- The last song I listen to before I tee off is "You Get What You Give" by the New Radicals.Â
- I used to play in a brass band and played other musical instruments.Â
- Soccer, I used to play at a high school level and when I was younger.Â
- Royal Birkdale GC, I shot a career low 10-under par and broke the ladies' course record.Â
SENIOR (Fall 2024)
Competed in all four events for Kansas … Carried a scoring average of 72.4 over 11 rounds … Posted two rounds in the 60’s … Finished inside the top 10 three times, including two finishes inside the top 5 … Finished tied for fourth in two events, the Golfweek Conference Challenge (-7) and White Sands Bahamas Fall Invitational (+2).
JUNIOR (2023-24)
WGCA All-American Scholar ... Competed in all 12 events for Kansas … Carried a 72.3 scoring average on the season, which ranks second all-time in program history … Posted eight rounds in the 60’s and finished inside of the Top 20 seven times, including three finishes in the Top 10 and one in the Top 5 … Best finish came at the UCF Challenge (Feb. 4-6), finishing in third place at -9 … Finished T13 at the NCAA Cle Elum Regional, posting rounds of 68-76-77–221 (+5).
PRIOR TO KU
During her freshman campaign at Incarnate Word, Hirst placed in the Top 10 in two invitationals with a season average of 76.0 … She was named to the Southland Women’s Golf All-Conference Third Team … Finished with four top-10 finishes her sophomore year … Placed fifth in the Pinetree CC Women’s Collegiate … Placed third in the Southland Conference Tournament… Averaged a score of 74.04 on the year… Was named to the All-Conference Second Team and All-Academic Second Team.

Graduated from Huddersfield New College in 2020 … Competed at Incarnate Word for two seasons … Anticipated major in psychology … Daughter of father, Nicholas and mother, Caroline … Has two sisters, Charlotte (27) and Jessica (24).
