Andreas Sloth is an accomplished rowing coach bringing extensive experience in student-athlete development and a successful record with international institutions to the University of Kansas. He previously served as the Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Coach for the Washington State Women's Rowing Team, where he led recruiting initiatives, managed athlete evaluation systems, and utilized performance data to support athletes.

Prior to his current role, Sloth served as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Washington State University and as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at the University of Kansas, where he assisted the KU coaching staff with daily operations, athlete progression, and performance testing.

Before moving to the United States, Sloth spent more than six years with the Danish Student Rowing Club in Copenhagen, serving as Head Coach for the club's elite women's and junior programs. During his tenure, he coached multiple national championship crews and guided athletes to international success, including appearances at the U23 and U19 World Championships, European Championships, World Coastal Championships, and Head of the Charles Regatta.

Sloth holds master's degrees in Sport Science from the University of Copenhagen and Sport Management from Washington State University. He has also earned Denmark's highest coaching certification, “Elite Coach,” and holds numerous additional credentials. His diverse background in coaching, recruiting, sport science, and athlete development makes him a dedicated teacher to helping student-athletes reach their highest potential.
