At what age did you start swimming and how did you get into the sport?
- I started swimming at age 10Â because my mom was involved with swimming.
- I like to stay calm before races by stretching and joking around with friends.
- My name means "fiery".

2024-25 (Junior)
- Academic All-Big 12 Team
- Won the 200 IM (2:08.31) and finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.50) at the Sunflower Showdown on October 4. Was also a member of the 200 medley relay that placed third.
- Collected a trio of third place finishes in the 100 breast (1:06.65), 200 IM (2:08.98) and 400 IM (4:37.12) against South Dakota (Oct. 25-26)
- Won the 200 breast (2:22.36) and placed third in the 1000 free (10:44.39) against Rockhurst on Dec. 7
- Came in runner-up in the 200 breast (2:18.95) at Houston on Jan. 11
- Posted a pair of lifetime bests in the 400 IMÂ (4:24.35) and 200 IM (2:04.40) at the Big 12 Championship
2023-24Â (Sophomore)
- Named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
- Earned two new personal bests at the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championship on Feb. 27 in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.48) and the 400-yard IM (4:25.13).
- Won the 100-yard breaststroke and placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke in a double dual against Lindenwood and South Dakota on October 20-21.Â
- Finished third in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Sunflower Showdown on October 6.   Â
- Placed in the top three of the 200-yard breaststroke against Illinois (Oct. 14), Nebraska (Nov. 3), Arkansas (Jan. 26) and Iowa State (Feb. 10).
- Placed third in the 400-yard IM against Nebraska on Nov. 3.
- Finished in the top three of the 100-yard breaststroke in the Sunflower Showdown (Oct. 6) and against Illinois (Oct. 14), Nebraska (Nov. 3), and Iowa State (Feb. 10).
2022-23 (Freshman)
- Finished third in the 100-yard backstroke in the Sunflower Showdown on September 30th.
- Finished third and recorded a personal best in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.79) versus Iowa State on Feb. 3rd.
- Placed eighth in the Big 12 Championship and recorded a personal best in the 400-yard IM (4:25.49) on Feb. 22nd.
