Lawrence, Kan. – After having two weeks off, Kansas women’s tennis is now the No. 19-ranked team in the nation as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Tuesday.
The Jayhawks are joined by six Big 12 teams in the top-50 rankings, including No. 6 Texas Tech, No. 7 Oklahoma State, No. 10 Baylor, No. 22 TCU and No. 47 Oklahoma. Overall, 13 of Kansas’ 21 past and future opponents were named to the week-by-week list.
For their first Big 12 Conference matches of the season, the Jayhawks will host two tough opponents in TCU at 5 p.m., on Friday, March 10 and Texas Tech at 12 p.m., on Sunday, March 12 at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.
