LAWRENCE, Kan. – Fresh off being named the 2015 KIA NBA Rookie of the Year, former Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins and adidas are introducing the Crazylight Boost 2015 – Andrew Wiggins Rookie of the Year Edition.
adidas reported the basketball shoe was inspired by Wiggins’ path from the North to the NBA. The shoe features repeating maple leaves to pay homage to his home country, Canada, and combines the colors of his high school, the Kansas Jayhawks and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Crazylight Boost 2015 made its on-court debut with Andrew during the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge during NBA All-Star Weekend. It’s the first basketball shoe to feature Primeknit technology and coupled with industry leading Boost cushioning, it’s adidas’ most innovate basketball shoe to date.
