2011 OUTDOOR
Ran a season-best 1:56.81 800 meters at the Arkansas Twilight (5/6) to finish 27th… Top individual finish was 10th in the 800 meters at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational (4/29), clocking in with a time of 1:58.99.
2011 INDOOR
Notched two fourth-place finishes in the 600 yards, the first coming at the Bob Timmons Challenge (12/4) with a time of 1:14.03, and the second in a time of 1:13.95 at the Bill Easton Classic (1/8)… Season’s top 600-yard time ran at the ISU Classic (2/12), clocking in at 1:13.88 to place 17th.
2010 OUTDOOR
Set a personal best in the 800 meters and finished eighth at the Arkansas Spring Invitational (3/27), running a time of 1:55.92… Finished fourth with a time of 1:58.06 in the 800 meters at the John McDonnell Invitational (4/9).
2010 INDOOR
Earned his highest finish of the year at the Jayhawk Classic (1/29), coming in second in the 600 meters with a time of 1:21.18, a personal best… Set a personal record in the 600-yard dash at the Bob Timmons Challenge (12/5) with a time of 1:12.28, finishing third… Competed in the 800 meters at the ISU-NCAA Qualifier (3/5), finishing 24th and setting a personal-best time of 1:56.21.
HIGH SCHOOL
Track and field team captain his sophomore, junior and senior years… Four-time all-region and all-league selection… Earned all-city honors as a junior and senior… Finished second in the 800 meters at the 2008 and 2009 Kansas state meet… Member of the 2009 State Champion 4×800 meter relay team… 4×400 meter relay team finished fourth at the 2008 and 2009 state meets… Member of the 4×400 meter relay team that finished seventh at the 2008 AAU Nationals… Named Athlete of the Year as a freshman, junior and senior… Received Outstanding Senior Male in 2009… Also played football, garnering all-city and all-league honors… Named to the Topeka West High School Honor Roll all four years.
