Kansas women’s golf will next compete at the 24th Big 12 Women’s Golf Championship, April 18-20 at The Club of Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas. This is the 25th year the conference has existed but the 2020 event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

⛳️ Heinlein Sets a KU 54-Hole Record Shooting a 206 (-10) at Lone Star Invitational

Coming off a 65 (-7) on Monday, Kansas sophomore Lauren Heinlein kept her momentum going and shot a final round 68 (-4) to finish second at the Lone Star Invitational at the Golf Club of Houston Tuesday. Heinlein’s three-round score of 206 (-10) establishes a new Kansas women’s golf 54-hole record.

⛳️ Heinlein Shoots 65 in Second Round at Lone Star Invitational

Kansas sophomore Lauren Heinlein shot a 65 (-7) in the second round of the Lone Star Invitational at the Golf Club of Houston Monday. The Ocala, Florida, native’s 65 is the second-lowest round in KU women’s golf history.

Kansas’ Lauren Heinlein and Aristelle Acuff shot under par in their third rounds to lead Kansas to a seventh-place finish at the Clemson Invitational Sunday morning. Due to heavy thunderstorms, only four holes remained in the third and final round played Sunday at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, S.C.

The Kansas women’s golf team has shown great balance at the Clemson Invitational with three different Jayhawks shooting low-round scores at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, S.C. As a team, Kansas sits tied for eighth in the 18-team field as severe thunderstorms caused a stoppage in play before the third and final round was completed Saturday.

⛳️ Jayhawks Finish Day One at Clemson Invitational

Kansas junior Sera Tadokoro carded four birdies and shot a 73 (+1) after the first round of the Clemson Invitational, Friday at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. With inclement weather in the forecast, the 18-team field played 27 holes Friday and will attempt to conclude the 54-hole event Saturday with another 27 holes.

Kansas junior Sera Tadokoro carded four birdies in the first round of the Briar’s Creek Invitational at The Golf Club at Briar’s Creek on Monday. In a field that consists of eight top-50 teams, No. 49 Kansas is in 14th place in the 18-team field when the second round was suspended due to darkness.

📚 Kansas Student-Athletes led the Big 12 with 18 Recipients of the Dr. Gerald Lage Award

The Big 12 conference announced the recipients of the 2021 Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award – the conference’s highest academic honor – on Wednesday. In total, 121 student-athletes were recognized. Kansas led the Big 12 with 18 honorees.
