The Jayhawk Club
The Jayhawk Club consists of two courses – the Championship Course and the Member’s Course. The Championship Course is home to the Kansas golf team. Characterized by large Bentgrass greens and flowing fairways, the parkland-style course is known for its unique combination of playability and tests of skill. Members are certain to enjoy the scenic beauty of the course’s natural Eastern Kansas landscaping. Not only will the quality and outstanding condition of the course enhance the golfing experience, so will the overall environment. Challenge and beauty are the hallmarks of The Championship Course.
Kansas Golf Training Facility
The state-of-the-art Kansas Golf Training Facility opened in 2018 after a nearly $2 million investment. The elite practice complex is open to members of the Jayhawk golf program year round, allowing the squad to work on all facets of their game in a myriad of conditions.
The 8,500-square foot complex consists of an indoor putting and chipping green, along with seven hitting bays that feature launch monitors, the ability to change the climate and a simulation room. Outside of the complex is an outdoor short-game area, a driving range and exclusive zoysia and bent grass tee boxes to prepare the Jayhawks for any event.
Aside from the practice aspect of the complex, there is also a luxury lounge for the team to relax in, along with custom-made lockers for the players. The complex also hosts offices for the coaches.
