In the last regatta of the fall season, the Kansas rowing team will travel to Catoosa, Oklahoma, to compete in the Tulsa Fall Invite starting on Friday, Nov. 1, and conclude on Saturday, Nov. 2.
Kansas rowing will prepare to host the seventh annual Jayhawk Jamboree on Sunday, Oct. 20, and celebrate 25 years of rowing as a program at Burcham Park.
The Jayhawks will welcome nine teams for the home regatta on the Kansas River, starting at 11 a.m.
Kansas rowing is in search of female athletes to add to its roster for the 2019-20 season and join the Jayhawks as they compete against other Division I programs. KU freshmen and sophomores who are interested are encouraged to attend the team’s informational meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 6:30 p.m., at the Kansas Boathouse.
Kansas rowing had 10 student-athletes earn Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar Athlete honors for their efforts in the classroom and on the water.
