SMS Terms and Conditions

University of Kansas Mobile is an interactive mobile SMS service provided by iVisionMobile with short code 55678.

University of Kansas supports the following SMS Services:

  • Text JAYHAWKS to 55678. Users will receive up to 10msgs/month.

University of Kansas Mobile works with but is not limited to the following carriers: AT&T, Sprint, Boost, Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Cellular One, C Spire Wireless and T-Mobile.

Message & Data Rates May Apply

Opt-Out: You can cancel your receipt of mobile alerts by texting the word STOP to the 55678 short code. For assistance, text HELP to the 55678 short code for information. If you need further assistance, please email  clansdell@ku.edu.

Please read these terms and conditions prior to using the Service.  University of Kansas provides and you are agreeing to receive short message service updates, mobile alerts and mobile call to action campaigns (collectively, the “Service”).  By using the Service, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions,  the Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Service. Message & data rates may apply. Check your wireless service provider if you have questions about your service plan.  When you complete forms online or otherwise provide us information in connection with the Service, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and true information. You agree not to use a false or misleading name or a name that you are not authorized to use. If we, in our sole discretion, believe that any such information is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, we may refuse access to the Service and pursue any appropriate legal remedies.

University of Kansas respects your privacy. We will only use information you provide to the Service to transmit Service related messages or as otherwise described above.
