2008-09 (Junior): One of the most improved upperclassmen and is now one of Kansas[apos] best short freestylers… She was a member of the school-record breaking 200 (1:31.39), 400 (3:19.18), and 800 (7:13.86) yard freestyle relay teams at the 2009 Big 12 Championships… Individually, she placed 10th in the 50 yard freestyle (23.23), 16th in the 200 yard freestyle (1:50.34), and 22nd in the 100 yard freestyle (50.80) at the 2009 Big 12 Championships… As an individual participant, she earned KU eight points at the Big 12 Championships, but including the relays she earned the Jayhawks 100 points total… Her 50 yard freestyle preliminary time of 23.22 is the fifth-best in school history… She had Kansas[apos] second-best season time in the 50 yard freestyle (23.22), third best in the 100 yard freestyle (50.80)and the fifth best in the 200 yard freestyle (1:49.65).
2007-08 (Sophomore): Contributed depth in the sprint free events for Kansas her sophomore season… Finished 18th in both the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events at the 2008 Big 12 Championship meet in Austin, Texas… Swam to a time of 23.70 at Big 12s, recording the second-fastest team time on the season… Finished her Big 12 100-yard free race in 51.20, also the second-fastest 100-yard free time for the Jayhawks during the 2007-08 season… Additionally swam the 200-yard free (1:52.24) and the 200-yard medley relay at the Big 12 meet… Represented Kansas in the 50 and 100 free races at the Nike Cup-Kenyon Invitational… Was a member of the 200, 400 and 800-yard free relays and the 200 and 400-yard medley relays at the Nike Cup.
2006-07 (Freshman): A key sprint freestyler for the Jayhawks… Landed fifth in the Kansas 2006-07 season top-five times in the 50-yard freestyle (24.26; 21st at Big 12s), 100-yard freestyle (52.87; prelims at Terrapin Cup Invitational) and 200-yard freestyle (1:54.10; prelims at Terrapin Cup Invitational)… Was also a competitor in the 50 free at the Terrapin Cup Invitational (24.43)… Competed in both the 100 and 200-yard freestyle against Missouri (55.55; 1:58.61) and Nebraska (54.59; 1:57.46)… Was the second-place high point finisher in the sprint freestyle events against Northern Iowa, finishing third in the 50 free (25.49), second in the 100 free (54.81) and fourth in the 200 free (1:58.44)… Swam the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events in the double dual against Nebraska-Omaha and South Dakota State, placing second in both events (25.19; 54.35) and against Iowa State (25.14; 54.38)… Also finished second in the 50-meter freestyle at the winter training trip meet against Northern Michigan (27.94).
High School (Eden Prairie): Was a four-year letterwinner in swimming… Four-year all-conference, all-state honoree… 2004 All-America (400 freestyle relay)… All-America consideration in 2004 and 2006 (100 freestyle)… Junior National qualifier in the 100 backstroke, 100 and 200 freestyle… Minnesota USS state champion in the 500, 100 and 200 freestyle… 2006 team captain… 2006 team MVP… Finalist for the award for academics and athletics… Named to the high school honor roll.
