Bio

Jackie Fischer joined Kansas Athletics staff in January 2021 as the Development Intern for the Williams Education Fund. Since then, she was named the Development Coordinator in October of 2021, and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Signature Events and Donor Experience as of July 2023.

Fischer’s daily responsibilities include managing men’s basketball, football, and baseball hospitality spaces on game days, coordinating all communications regarding events, as well as creating and executing stewardship efforts for ongoing capital projects within Athletics. She also currently serves as the Social Chair for the Jayhawk Young Professionals council here at Kansas Athletics.

Fischer earned her bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communications with minors in sports management and business from the University of Kansas in 2020.

As a student, she worked at several different local establishments such as Johnny’s Tavern and the Lawrence Country Club while also working game days as a student hospitality ambassador for the Williams Education Fund before joining the office full-time. Fischer currently resides in Lawrence and is originally a native of Robbinsdale, Minnesota.
