"Every Big 12 road game is a tough test, and going to Baylor against a top-10 team will be no different," Kansas head coach Nate Lie said. "We're going to have to be disciplined, stay composed and take care of the little things throughout the game. Our team has worked hard to put ourselves in these moments, and now we have to go out there and embrace the challenge."

The Jayhawks are unbeaten in their last six matches, with five wins being only broken by a 1-1 draw with Cincinnati in Kansas' Big 12 opener. The Jayhawks tallied a pair of victories at home last week, holding both Arizona State and Arizona scoreless in double-feature of 2-0 victories on Thursday and Sunday.

Goals from Jocelyn Herrema and Caroline Castans helped Kansas advance past Arizona State on Thursday, while late heroics from Jillian Gregorski secured the Sunday win. Gregorski scored a pair of goals in the final eight minutes, including a deadlock-breaking header in the 82nd minute.
Â
Both wins helped solidify the cases of Livvy Moore and Sophie Dawe, who collected the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week and Big 12 Goalkeeper of the week, respectively. Moore added three assists in last week's matches, bringing her conference and country leading total to nine on the season, while Dawe recorded three saves in each of the two matches, bringing her into a tie for first with five shutouts on the season.
