Lawrence, Kan. - The Big 12 Conference and Kansas softball unveiled the Jayhawks' 2025 schedule on Tuesday, which features 52 games overall, including a 24-game Big 12 lineup with matchups against three new members of the league.

Jennifer McFalls said. "Seeing some new faces and still facing great competition will certainly present some challenging matchups."Â
The Jayhawks will begin their season with a series of four road tournaments, participating in the FAU tournament (Paradise Classic), Long Beach State Tournamnet (Wilson Invitational), Texas State Tournament (Bobcat Classic) , and the Oklahoma Tournament. Specific opponents and game times for these tournaments will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The Jayhawks will kick off their Big 12 campaign with back-to-back away series. They will begin their conference slate from March 7-9 against Baylor before heading to Salt Lake City for a series against Utah (March 21-23).
Kansas will host Wichita State in its home opener on March 12. Other non-conference games include matchups with Omaha, Missouri, Kansas City, and Missouri State
Kansas' first Big 12 home game at Arrocha Ballpark will feature a series against Texas Tech from March 28-30. Following this, the Jayhawks will head back on the road for a three-game series against the Arizona State Sun Devils in Tempe. Kansas will be back home April 11-13, when it will host Arizona (April 11-13). The Jayhawks will face one final Big 12 three-game slate on the road at Iowa State from April 17-19.
The team will wrap up Big 12 play with two home series at Arrocha Ballpark. Oklahoma State will visit from April 25-27, followed by a series against UCF from May 2-4 before heading into the postseason.
The Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship is scheduled for May 7-10 at Devon Park Softball Stadium in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Kansas closed out last spring with a 28-25-1 overall record and a .528 winning percentage. In Big 12 competition, the Jayhawks posted an 11-16 record (.407), demonstrating resilience on the road with a 13-9 mark. The team also went 9-5-1 at neutral sites. For the 2025 season, Kansas returns 14 student-athletes while welcoming six newcomers and three transfers to the squad.
