"We were disappointed with how we came out on Saturday against Oklahoma State," head Coach Nate Lie said. "Our hope is that we have addressed that and we're ready to compete at the first whistle on Thursday. We have two opportunities left to play in front of our fans at Rock Chalk Park and we look forward to a tough challenge against BYU on Thursday."

Kansas (5-5-3, 2-4-0 Big 12) has won two of its previous three matches at home. The Jayhawks have earned conference shutout victories against Cincinnati on the road and UCF at home this year.

Junior forward
Lexi Watts has scored four goals in the last six matches. Watts scored two goals against UCF earlier this season. The multi-goal game was the second of her career. Watts has 11 points this season, which is tied for the most on the team.

Redshirt freshman
Sophie Dawe has started all but one game in goal this season. She has posted a 1.09 goals against average this season. Dawe has three solo shutouts and one combined shutout on the season.

ABOUT BYU
BYU (5-5-3, 3-2-1 Big 12) is coming off a 2-1 defeat at Arizona on Oct. 4. Despite the loss, BYU outshot Arizona 13-5 in the contest. The Cougars currently lead the Big 12 with 92 corner kicks this season. Away from home this season, BYU has posted a 0-4-2 record on the year. Allie Fryer leads the offensive attack for the Cougars with six goals this season.

SERIES HISTORY
Kansas and BYU have met on five occasions all-time. BYU leads the series 4-1, with the last meeting coming on Sept. 19, 2019 in Lawrence. The Cougars recorded a 2-0 shutout at Rock Chalk Park. The lone win for Kansas came on Aug. 30, 2004 at BYU in a 1-0 shutout.

MATCH PROMOTION
Kansas will be wearing pink uniforms on Thursday as it is the Jayhawks for a Cure game. All fans are encouraged to wear pink. Pink scarves will be given away to fans upon entry, while supplies last.
