Kansas Swimming and Diving Welcomes Five Signees for the 2026 Class

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas swimming and diving head coach Clark Campbell announced the addition of five new student-athletes to the Jayhawks' 2026 recruiting class on Wednesday, Nov. 12. The class includes four swimmers, Lauryn Vogt, Abby Lewton, Hannah Renaud and Megan Liiste, along with diver Addison Williams.
"We are incredibly excited for our 2026 signing class," Campbell said. "Each one has the ability to make an impact right away, and they will definitely help us move up in the Big 12, as well as potentially represent us and score at NCAAs."
Addison Williams
Joining the diving squad is Williams, who comes to Kansas from Tomball, Texas, where she competes for Tomball Memorial High School and trains with the Woodlands Diving Academy, one of the top youth diving programs in the region. Williams has competed in numerous regional and national meets, including the USA Diving Junior Region 4 Championships, gaining valuable experience against elite competition.
Lauryn Vogt
Vogt is a five-time Kansas High School State Champion and one of the top sprint swimmers in the state. A member of the Nitros of Kansas club team, Vogt has dominated the Class 5-1A level, setting a meet record in the 50-yard freestyle at 23.39 seconds during the 2025 state championships. Vogt will stay close to home as she continues her career with the Jayhawks after graduating from Hillsboro High School in 2026.
Abby Lewton
Lewton, from Hannibal, Missouri, is ranked among the top swimmers who currently is ranked in at 8th in the state. Abby is also currently a student-athlete set to graduate in 2026 at Hannibal High School in Hannibal, Missouri. She competes as a current swimmer for the Rockwood Swim Club located in Clarkson Valley, Missouri.
Hannah Renaud
Renaud of Lake Saint Louis, swims for Westminster Christian Academy and competes with the CSP Tideriders' elite training group. Known for her consistency and competitive spirit, Renaud has contributed to team success both at the high school and club levels and will look to strengthen KU's depth across multiple events.
Megan Liiste
Rounding out the class is Liiste from North Oaks, Minnesota. A standout at Totino Grace High School and a member of the nationally recognized Aquajets Swim Team, Liiste is currently ranked 11th in the state of Minnesota for the class of 2026. Her experience with one of the Midwest's top club programs positions her well to make an immediate impact in Lawrence.
